A New Wellness Hotel Just Opened in Savannah & It’s Worth the Road Trip

Savannah just got a lot more interesting for wellness-minded travelers. Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District officially opened its doors, bringing 148 rooms and suites to East Bryan Street — right off Reynolds Square and steps from the Savannah River. It’s the brand’s first Georgia location, and it was developed by Noble Investment Group.

The hotel is LEED-certified and designed to move with how guests actually live, not just where they’re sleeping for the night. Tech-enabled guestrooms feature what the brand calls a “Get Ready Zone” — think enhanced lighting, spa-inspired bathrooms with Bluetooth speaker mirrors, and Apotheke bath products. For guests who can’t bear to skip a workout, Peloton Suites come equipped with an in-room bike, yoga mats, and resistance bands. The 24-hour fitness center handles everything else.

The lobby leans into Savannah’s layered character with local artwork, coastal design elements, and flexible common areas built for both working and lingering. Over 3,000 square feet of meeting space rounds out the offering for groups and small events.

“Tempo by Hilton is designed for the modern traveler who wants to maintain their routine while staying present and making the most of the trip,” said Kevin Morgan, global brand head and vice president of Tempo by Hilton. “As our first Tempo property in Georgia, this opening marks an important step in the brand’s growth journey as we continue to expand into sought-after destinations like Savannah, where guests can seamlessly balance productivity, relaxation and exploration.”

Waving Girl Rooftop

The property’s rooftop bar and restaurant, Waving Girl Rooftop, is named in tribute to Florence Martus — the local legend who spent decades waving at every ship passing through the channel. Executive Chef Norma Maytag built the menu around Coastal Georgia ingredients, with dishes like BBQ pork belly sliders, Vidalia onion fritters with smoked tomato aioli, and seasonal burrata, alongside cocktails and a wine program spotlighting female winemakers. The rooftop is open now.

Bluestone Lane Café on Reynolds Square

Street level brings a South Florida-familiar name to Savannah: Bluestone Lane Café, the Australian-inspired coffee and brunch concept, is now open at the hotel’s ground floor overlooking Reynolds Square. The café serves fresh, seasonal breakfast, brunch, and lunch — a solid option whether you’re a guest or just passing through downtown.

General Manager Bryan Hale summed it up well: “Every detail of the hotel was created to help travelers feel their best while experiencing the charm and hospitality that Savannah is known for.”

Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District is managed by McKibbon Hospitality and is now accepting reservations. Waving Girl Rooftop and Bluestone Lane Café are serving now.
