Bad Bunny and Zara Drop BENITO ANTONIO Collection — And It’s Available Tomorrow

Bad Bunny has officially partnered with Zara on BENITO ANTONIO, a 150-piece collection rooted in the personal world of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. The drop goes live May 21 at zara.com and in selected Zara stores worldwide at 12 a.m. local time.

The collection has been quietly building its story for months. On February 8, Benito headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in Santa Clara. Becoming the first Latin male artist to headline the show wearing custom looks developed in collaboration with Zara. Then on May 4, he arrived at the Met Gala transformed into an older version of himself in a custom black tuxedo of his own design, also developed with Zara. And on May 16, before any official announcement, Zara converted its Plaza Las Américas location in San Juan into a dedicated pop-up space, giving Puerto Rico the first look at the collection in person. Benito made a surprise appearance that same afternoon.

Created alongside his longtime creative director Janthony Oliveras, the collection was built around one guiding principle: Benito’s own point of view. The silhouettes, colors, graphics, fabrics, and fit were all approached with intention. The pieces move between tailoring, oversized essentials, textured separates, graphic statements, and summer pieces. All reflecting the confidence and ease that has long defined his style.

“My role was to bring Benito’s style to life as it exists today, not last year’s, not next year’s. Right now. Being so close to him gave me a real sense of certainty: with every new piece we created, I could genuinely picture him wearing it. By the second trip to A Coruña, when we had the first samples in hand, I knew we had captured his essence. There’s something very special about this collaboration, it’s the coming together of two different worlds united by language and Zara gives us the opportunity to share that globally in a way that feels accessible to everyone. I want people to feel like they’re stepping into a dream. I want them to understand that simplicity doesn’t have to mean boring. Seeing this collection finally out in the world means everything to me, it feels like my baby,” says Janthony Oliveras, Creative Director

The visual identity was developed with M/M Paris, drawing from the imagery Benito has always carried with him such as electric poles, street infrastructure, handmade textures, and the details of everyday Puerto Rican life. The campaign was shot entirely in Puerto Rico by STILLZ, the photographer behind some of the most iconic visuals of Benito’s career. In the images, he sits alone on a rock in the ocean beside a handmade wooden boat carrying a sail assembled from pieces of the collection itself.

Selected Zara stores worldwide have also been transformed to reflect the atmosphere and visual language of the collection. More than a collaboration, BENITO ANTONIO is a full expression of Benito’s identity, his creative evolution, and the perspective that has always made his work impossible to ignore.

BENITO ANTONIO is available starting May 21 at zara.com and in selected stores worldwide.
