Reformation in Miami

Leave it to Yael Aflalo who started Reformation in 2009, to bring you eco-friendly and sustainable fashion clothing. You can now join the ranks of stars such as Taylor Swift, Emily Ratajkowski, Olivia Munn, Sophia Bush and Karlie Kloss who have already been spotted wearing Reformation. What started in Los Angeles has arrived in Wynwood. The brand has since opened a pop-up shop for the classic, vintage inspired clothes.

Reformation is information. Not only is the clothing fashion conscience, but it’s reducing your carbon footprint as you wear. The brand is educating consumers along the way with 5 easy steps:

  1. Only wash as needed
  2. When you can, skip the dryer

The brand urges you to “line drying your clothes for just six months out of the year” as it “can eliminate up to 700 pounds of greenhouse gases annually.”

  1. Press the Cold Button

Pressing the cold button on your washer can save energy and help your clothes last longer.

  1.    Spot cleaner

Have a spot on your clothing? Use the spot cleaner.

  1. Your Denim

Reformation encourages you to “consider bagging and putting it in the freezer for a day or two – this will kill bacteria and odors, keep your jeans in better shape and is just a chill way to do laundry that your science teacher would have loved.”

Ready to reduce your carbon footprint and look stylish doing it? Go shop, Reformation’s pop-up shop is located at 219 NW 23rd Street and is open from Sunday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
